(me and you. you=reader. me=writer. and sorry to the real person in this picture...)
you: oh hey paige. i like those animal print shoes that you have worn everyday this week.me: hey fella, i like these a lot alright.
you: anyways...
me: anyways isn't a word. it's anyway.
you: (eye roll) anyway...what should i do this weekend?
me: (eyes widen) the real question is when will i ever find time to rest my poor feet because i will be spending so much time on them this weekend with all of the fun that i will be having?! unless you are me. because of my animal print sandals, my feet are never tired.
you: you lost me there in the middle for a minute but i found my way back. so anyways..
me: anyway
you: anyway what's going on this weekend?
me: well first you could go to the farmer's market that just started a few weeks ago.
you: what? i hate fresh grown vegetables and delicious honey that comes in plastic tubes!
me: well you are lame but whatever. okay i know! taylorsville dayzz!! it's my favorite holiday and easily the most exciting event on this side of 4700 south!
you: taylorsville. no way. that city is full of gangsters and vacant buildings.
me: (this is where i beat you up because, like you said, my city is full of gangsters and they have taught me a few things over the years.)
you: ouch.
me: you have a point about the vacant buildings. but don't worry. imma fix that. (true story. more on that later). but if you hate the ville than i don't want you ruining my favorite holiday with your foolishness.
you: so that's it. fresh food and celebrating vacancy?
me: um hello? have you not seen those awesome signs hanging all around slc?
you: shame on you crown burger?
me: what? no. the arts festival! funnest festival in utah. no question.
you: oh you mean the festival with love music, sweet local art, delish food and a bike valet? so there.
me: ...did you just get that excited about bikes? we need to talk seriously about bikes sometime...
to be continued.
