festivity is important to me.

we three fools have an october bucket list,

a "what to do before halloween comes" list,

a "hallospookomurderotacular" list.

here it is:

1. go to park city.  because nothing says spooky like overpriced boutiques and premature snow.
2. 13 nights of halloween.
3. salt lake cemetary.  last time we went there to spook our friends, ben almost got arrested.  long story.  so that is good.
4. haunted homes {plural for haunted house}
5. gravity hill.  still trying to figure that one out.
6. carve jack o'lanterns.  i'll probably stick with the classic.
7. murder a byu student...wait what?  must've been ben's entry.  he goes too far every time.  what he meant was...
8. prank all of provo utah.
9. walk to scary rock canyon cave.
10. "redrum" car windows belonging to the un-festive.  warning to you all.

only 15 more days to finish!

midterms can wait.

we have some spooky stuff to do.

new, new year's resolution.

i have added a new resolution to the
already long list of changes for 2010.
it is:

do not lose absolute control when someone either

1.  falls out of the bus.

2.  falls into the bus.

3.  totally eats it while walking through a door

4.  makes a loud (sometimes inappropriate) sound, phrase, or word while doing any of the above.

today.  i broke that resolution already.

oh and i need better traction on my new boots.

happy new year, lovelies!  it' that time again, to make goals, be determined, and give up after about a month, but this is my vow to myself to stay on track.  2010 is the year i stick with my new goals.  and that's final.  this year i will...

give up nail biting.
pick up running.
give up spending money.
pick up budgeting.
give up jeans.
pick up reading (for fun).
give up elementary education major.
pick up english major.
give up technology.
pick up letter writing and telegrams and such.
give up frowning.
pick up weekly letters to sister wightman and the elders.
give up procrastinating.
pick up take a picture each day.
give up this hairdo i've been sporting. 

pick up her style. and hers too.
give up being "comfortable".
pick up new things.

this year will be different.

i feel it.

i don't quite understand my immense excitement for this years academy awards but i don't care.  i am so excited and i don't care who knows it.  i am, however, severley behind on my movie watching.  so if you are in my same predicament, don't fret.  here is a list of the golden globe nominees and the must see movies (my faves are bolded) of the year...
