it's time for vista lions to stand up and shout.

my favorite thing about my elementary {vista elementary-class of '01} is that we have a theme song.  you know you loved it to.  and i dare any vista alum to not sing it right now.  and tell the world around us what learning's about...
vista, home of the lions, is a good place.  good for learning, and playing, and making friends, and singing the alphabet and theme song, and taking pictures on the big kid playground.
{me sliding down the slide on the very playground where i first met my best friend.  dani.  she was playing power rangers or telletubies or something equally as stupid.  then i made fun of her.  then she followed me around.  and the rest is history.}
{mine and dani's feet in the rocks in the big kid playground.  you'd better believe it was a daily occurance that one of our classmates would shove one of these pebbles into their nose.  every single day.}
{me and dani singing the theme song for our alma mater and birthplace of friendship.}
{dani in the tube slide that christian deluca peed down once.  he's a legend.}
{me, pouting, for losing invisable kickball.  i was the master in 5th grade.}
{dani looking down the hallway and at the bathroom that had stall doors that were uncomfortably short, even for children.}
vista!
