remind me.

as a rather large winnie the pooh fan as a child, i don't remember pooh bear being such a hopeless romantic/philosopher of life and all things that are lovely and praiseworthy.  do you?
if so, i was raised hearing some beautiful insight on life and love...which is why i don't think that pooh bear ever said these things.  but maybe.
speaking of pooh bear, i'd like a baby for halloween so i can hold something this adorable for the holidays.
 and yes.
it took a few little whiles for me to realize this is a doll.
not a real live baby.
doesn't make it any less presh.
happy ween y'all.

obsesh confesh.

i bought extra wintergreen gum the other day.  i haven't seen a full size piece of gum like the one pictured above since grade school.  everyone is all about orbit and stride and such these days, so i forgot about those silver little wrappers.  when i was young, i would peel the silver off of the wrapper and create some silver masterpiece.  {you know me, reduce reuse recycle!}  but when simple paper wrappers became the cool thing to wrap your mini gum in, i gave up my peeling obsession.  until today.  now that i have this silver wrapper, i am entertained for hours.  silver wrapper pens, sliver wrapper nails, silver wrapper notebooks.  i basically have to chew gum all day and night so i can have enough silver wrapper to occupy my time.
and now that i am thinking about peeling, i have to confess more obsessions.
i think i have a peeling off obsession.
i peel...
nail polish off my fingernails
wallpaper off walls
oranges {they aren't my favorite fruit for nothing!}
mascara off my eyelashes
chocolate off the peanut butter in reeces
...therefore i am.

i think it is very odd of me to love these things so much.  i wonder why.  i'm off to psychology...maybe i'll figure it out there.  in the mean time i am making silver wrapper pumps.

i've got my lunch packed up, my boots tied tight.

{how epic is this? happy back to school, lovelies!}

when i was small
my parents bought me some worry dolls.
either because i picked them out since they were pocket sized barbies
or they believed in their magical powers of stress erasing.
the latter is probably true.
i am the world's biggest worry wart.
really.
anyways...
i named these worry dolls
bobus & angela.
i know, cool names, right?
i took them everywhere with me.
and then,
like all of my most prized possessions as a child
i lost them.
i tell myself now that i lost them for a reason.
i lost them because someone needed their powers
more than i did.
it's cushion the blow, i guess.
well i found many people that really needed some
bobus & angela
magic
today.
at school.
they were lost.
couldn't find a parking spot.
didn't know what building "LI" was {and frankly neither did i, until today, noonish.}
they were a bunch of worry warts.
just like i was a year ago.
{actually i still worry, i worry like it's my job, but not on campus.  no way, jose.}
and i was as cool and a cucumber.
it feels good
being a sophomore.
and you know what
i've missed you
UVU.
and i will continue to miss my
bobus & angela.
may you steal worry
wherever you are.
