made sure i looked good.
weighed the odds of whether peter pan existed or not because i swear i saw him at the airport.
said hello to every one of court's fan club.
bargained with little gavin and gabe to get them to hold a banner for me.
made sure i had all of my cameras {flip vid, diana, digital} ready. pointless.
fell for every "THERE SHE IS!"
...and i ended up with zero reunion hug pictures.

That is not a family member with no legs standing on their hands. It is Mom in a full-length white dress (symbolism?). I assume Peter Pan is there to bring his brand of peanut butter to spread on the balloon that looks like a ritz cracker. (Everyone's a critic) Excellent post Paige, sorry you were too distracted to catch a hug pic - but I love the illustration even more!
I was pretty much going to leave a witty comment about the ritz cracker and such but your family pretty much took every possible line. so ya.
