please explain.

sometimes i just don't understand things.  i don't understand why they exist or how they work.

examples:

1.  traffic.

if everyone is going the same speed and headed in the same direction at the same time, how come we come to a complete stop?  i don't understand.

2.  american cheese.

why would anyone choose processed orange colored plastic over the real thing?  i don't understand

3.  fireworks.

who invented this?  and how the freak did they do it?  how can they have different shapes, colors, sizes, sounds?  i don't understand.

4.  how every snowflake is different?

is that really true?  if so, crazy.  if not, why would someone lie about that?  i don't understand.

5.  bald men with full beards.

how come they can't grow hair on their heads, but can on their faces?  or can they, and they just choose to be bald headed and full faced?  i don't understand.
