when i was a child, i was afraid of possibly everything.
-germs scared me so much that i washed my hands about every five minutes, leaving my hands raw and bloody.
-but i felt a need to keep everything {yeah, i think me and brice might be a perfect match} including wrappers, tissues, and every bit of scratch paper i had my hands on because i thought throwing anything away would hurt their feelings. gross, but thoughtful right?
-due to watching too many cartoons, i was afraid of pepper since it made you sneeze so much.
-i got scared when mom put a butter knife at my dinner plate. knives are dangerous and should only be handled by grown adults.
oddly, i grew out of that stage {kind of, i am still afraid of showering when i am home alone and i am still fully convinced that our basement is haunted} and started treating everything like they were a family. a perfect example of this...i finally let mom put a butter knife at my plate and it became the "daddy knife", the fork "mom", and the spoon "baby". i might've played barbies too much or something. soon everything was a set of daddies, mommies, and babies.
and today, i found this...
...and i think i might've made that exact little set up there in my early years before. glad to know that i am not the only family loving crazy in the world.
