staycation, all i ever wanted.

i like the idea

of being a visitor

in my hometown.

i like that idea so much

that i did so this weekend.

so me mom and dad

packed up the explorer and headed north.

ten minutes later

we unloaded the explorer

and checked into the

salt lake city marriott.

and the STAYcation began.

{with this as our view.}

next we dined

at a local fav

(aka my favorite restaurant)

  {red rock.}

we did a little swimming

watched a little golden globes (yay GLEE!}

ordered a little room service dessert

rented a little movie

and slept on the world's most comfortable beds

with the light of the 

walker center sign

flashing outside our 9th floor window.

{i didn't mind since she's a beautiful sight, right?}

the next morning

  {after breakfast}

 we explored the city.

{i heart graffitied walls}

 

  {i heart utah.}

{confession:  i used to be afraid of antique shops, now i want an all antique lifestyle.

including my wedding ring from an antique jewelers, remember that future mr. paige.}

{still wish i would've stolen these lovlies.}

{new favorite store.}
