all hallow's eve.

confession.  i would give anything to be a small child again.  mainly because i wish it was still socially acceptable to knock on doors, beg for candy, and actually receive it.  tell me it wasn't fantastic, back in the day, to dress up and go out for the night only to come back with a orange bag filled with delicious-ness.  halloween was a dream come true back then.  then again, i am legally an adult and still i spent my night wearing a costume and slowly killing myself with butterfingers.  so maybe adulthood isn't that bad after all.

{me in a little $6 di find and lib looking as fabulous as always.}

like the wise sister wightman says "you won't always be young, but you can be immature forever."

i love that.

oh!  me and papa wightman carved pumpkins this weekend.  and oh it was so good!

{i love this man right here}

it kills me a little when my dad says,
"i am so happy that our tradition continued even though my girls are gone."
or
"i can't wait to carve pumpkins with your babies."

don't worry dad,
me and sister wightman are firm believers in
being immature forever.
(and we can't wait for bringing the nuggets
over to carve pumpkins with papa wightman...
someday.)
let the traditions live forever.
happy november.

p.s.  watch this.
