the one and only.

i live for road trips. even the ones that last about 48 hours. also, i can't get enough of st. george utah. so i think it goes without saying that my quick little trip down south this weekend was the tops. here is what went down...

first stop: domination station. BYU vs. Utah State. yes BYU won and yes i am heartbroken that the love of my life is out for four to six weeks due to a pulled hamstring.

get better love.

next, bfsp, Colton and I drove straight to heaven on earth, st. george utah.  no, we didn't even have to stop once!  mom and dad took their time getting there so bfsp and i went on a spare key hunt.  no luck.  thankfully {well, i think this was a blessing} the back door was unlocked so we shimmied ourselves in and prepared to fight off any robbers who might've been inside.  thankfully {i know this was a blessing} no one had broken in and the condo looked and smelled just like it always does.
saturday morning arrived quickly so mom made the traditional conference cinnamon rolls, dad completed his daily crossword puzzle as bfsp and i enjoyed conference session.

next stop--the one and only snow canyon.  bfsp has never been {sinner} so as you can see we went a bit wild with the camera...

we are have a future in modeling and/or photography, right?
anyways, after getting that beautiful red dirt all over our clothes, we went out in public as if we were squeaky clean.  we swung by my favorite pizza joint, {well right up there with big nick's in the fabulous nyc} the pizza factory.

yeah.  yum!
and what meal is complete without a cupcake?

thank you twenty five main.  you made my life worth living.  if you are ever in st. george definitely check it out.  i recommend the chai latte cupcake.  you'll die!

sunday we were happy to watch the final day of conference.  in between the sessions we got to go to my favorite place of all time [and the future setting of my wedding day] the st. george temple.  isn't it beautiful?

now don't judge me, but we did swing by in-n-out before driving home, even though it was still sunday.  i was doing service to my fellow men who have never been exposed to the beauty of the classic (yeah you read it right, bfsp had never been to in-n-out).

we love it!

then the worst part of the trip arrived...the end.
