everybody cut.

it didn't take long for me to realize, at the ripe age of 7, that i was in love.  i was in love with footloose.  the film teaches many things:
a) everyone can dance.  even cowboys.
b) it is in fact possible to switch cars while driving.
c) vw bugs are as cool as they look.
and
d) the only real way to cool down and relieve stress is to dance it out, angry style.
 when i saw that mtv was going to remake it i was skeptical.  when i heard that zac efron was being considered for the lead, i was no longer skeptical.  i mean, was his version of the angry dance in hsm3 not a perfect tryout? his denial was a let down.  so anyway i saw it at the dollars and thought i was being punk'd for real.

i think footloose (2011) starred my friends.
