it's been raining here.  lots and lots.  lots as in utah is basically not a desert anymore.  i am not complaining.  the exact opposite in fact.  i love the rain.  the dancing, the darkness, the umbrellas, the coats, the splashing.  plus i have a legitimate reason to wear my favorite boots from my favorite store in my favorite city. 

said favorite store is one i have tried to keep a secret for a while {except from her, because we have no fashion secrets...right m?!} but what kind of number one fan am i if i don't advertise advertise advertise?!! 

so here we go.  you must visit one of my favorite shopping secrets in the fabulous salt lake city.

misc. (pronounced missy.) is a darling little shop full of apparel, collected by miss missy herself, from different estate sales from around the state.  we're talking 1960s and 70s era clothes, shoes, jewelry, and once i even saw a vintage barbie kitchen there.  it is an absolute goldmine.  last year, while amidst a black boot goose chase, i searched high and low for the perfect black leather boot for winter.  i was sorely disappointed with all of my options, until my staycation while i was walking down broadway and stumbled upon this quaint little shop.  that's when i saw them.  that is when i began to believe in a thing called love at first sight.  i walked out of that store an owner of vintage black leather knee length boots for $16 and have barely taken them off since.  in love,  i say.  so go there.  tell them i sent you.  they won't know who i am but tell them anyways.  it will be fun.  oh and then go to gourmandise and get a pastry and hot chocolate because you, my lovely, just enriched your life all thanks to misc. and me.
